Well 2007 season is here already still holding the no 1 plate after winning the 2006 championship

We made a few changes this year. First off the car has a new coat of paint inside and out, repainted the roll cage and generally tidied up the car

This years goal was a tough decision...do we just stay as we are and run in the 14.5s or try to get a bit faster

After a bit of research I decided I needed to go faster

so a NOS kit was purchased and installed, a second fuel pump and regulator was fitted to run the NOS

with it ready to test I booked the car in at the Race Shack to have the nitrous system set up and tested

First run on the dyno without the NOS saw 67 bhp at the wheels, a few tweeks later it was up to 76 not bad for a 1679cc

The NOS bottle was filled and the system tested for leaks, with no leaks found the programmer was set and we did a run on the dyno

This time we got 92 bhp, a few tweeks on the programmer and we got 102 bhp, thats 35 bhp extra! now we need to see what she does on the track and hope the gearbox holds out

The AGM is always a good excuse for a beer or 2

A night out in Northampton on a Saturday night. Sunday the AGM took place at the Marriot Hotel

David Lloyd Jones of Santa Pod was in attendance to present the trophies

The only major thing in the agenda was to increase the entry fee to include electic hook up to all pits

Presentations started, we were presented with the sportsman winners trophy for the second year running. Then the driver of the year trophy time... this is voted by the club members each voting for

their own driver of the year...this year it was awarded to me and I was gobsmacked, for once I was speechless, not like me

Let's hope for a good 2007 season
